Buying a test kit from everlywell is simple and discrete, so whether you're buying for the purpose of curiosity or for a specific health concern, it feels like they're a trustworthy brand to shop with. The website is slick and the buying experience is smooth. Global eCommerce is relatively efficient nowadays although it can go wrong, yet everlywell appear to have their shopping tech on par with the top competitors in this space, there don't appear to be any flaws in the shopping process.

You're instructed that shipping is free from the product page, which is neatly signposted under the test kit image. There doesn't appear to be an option to fast-track shipping in any way, so it seems as though timescales are quite tight for delivery, so can't be sped up in any way. The shipping was relatively quick although their website does suggest it can take up to 8 business days our experience was positive, with tests arriving within that timeframe.
Taking the test
Once the test arrived, we had to register the kit online with a unique ID number. The registration process was simple for those who are digitally savvy and do this kind of thing quite often, but it also came with useful instructions for those less digitally minded.
The same goes for the actual test kit, the guide was easy to follow and offered a step-by-step process for how to administer the test and collect your samples. This is a medical procedure, so it can be daunting, but the instructions are there for good reason and they help you take the test properly.
All equipment was laid out separately and could be clearly identified from the instruction guide. Blood tests require a finger prick using a home-based lancet tool, which gives you a bit of sting on the end of the finger but is otherwise well made for this purpose. The box contained extra lancets, suggesting that samples might need spare testing tools from time to time for multiple attempts.
Results
The kit contained a self-addressed free return envelope that looked a little more serious than the parcel it came in, with some definite hazardous icons on the coveting that would help a courier identify a medical package. It's still discreet in the sense that no one knows that's in the return package, but it's definitely a chance of scenery from the subtle packaging of the original parcel.
